ezimade will use whichever courier or freight company are offering the best service at the most economical price to deliver your order to your door.
Generally this will be either NZ Couriers or Courier Post.
We charge postage/delivery at a measly $5.00. Orders over $100.00 are freight free.
Well we shouldn’t but we do …only charge $5.00 for delivery (don’t tell my accountant). Orders over $100.00 are freight free.
Should a parcel be returned due to non-delivery, i.e. nobody to receive and sign for the goods, you will be liable for all re-shipping costs.
- We will endeavour to dispatch your order within 1-2 working days. However, at busy times there may be a delay of an additional day or two… Should this be the case we will notify you.
- Should an item on your order be out of stock, we will advise you, and:
a) We will deduct the goods from your order and not charge you for it, and will inform you if we have a similar item which could replace it;
b) We can delay the shipment of your order until it is in stock; OR
c) We can ship any out of stock items at a later date, freight free.
Now the bits the courier companies insist on …
Damaged, incorrect or missing items
In the unlikely event of any items in your order being damaged, you must notify us within 24 hours of signing for the goods as to which items are damaged. We will then arrange for the damaged goods to be collected and will replace at our cost.
If we are not notified within 24 hours, we are unable to place a claim with our shippers and will not be able to replace the goods.
If we have inadvertently sent you the wrong item, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order and we will arrange for our carriers to collect the incorrect item. Once the incorrect item has been returned, we will despatch the correct item at no extra charge to you.
Q. Do I sign for my goods if they are damaged?
A. If the goods are damaged, please sign to accept but note that the goods are damaged. If you sign for the goods in ‘Good Condition’ we will not be able to process a claim and therefore we cannot refund.
Q. Do I need to keep the packaging?
A. If the goods are damaged, packaging must be kept in case the goods need inspecting with the packaging. If the packaging is not kept this could invalidate your claim.
Q. Who can start a claim?
A. Only the person that placed the order can start a claim and only the person who placed the order will be paid out.
Don’t worry though. I will do whatever it takes to make your dealing with ezimade a happy experience.
